Mother’s Day Wellness Staycation Competition

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The Promoter

This competition is promoted by Re•nu Social Wellness, located at 35 Mair Street, Ballarat Central, Victoria 3350, Australia (“Re•nu”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). For competition enquiries, contact us by phone on 0416 292 652 or via the contact form at www.renusocialwellness.com.au.

2. Eligibility

By entering this competition, you confirm that you meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

 

  • You are an Australian resident aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
  • You are purchasing a voucher as a gift for, or on behalf of, a recipient who is also an Australian resident.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Re•nu Social Wellness and any associated businesses are not eligible to enter.
  • Given that the Re•nu 28-Day Mind & Body Reset Programme is delivered in person at Re•nu Social Wellness, 35 Mair Street, Ballarat, the intended recipient (Mum) must be able to access and use the programme at this location. Entry is open to individuals residing in or within reasonable travelling distance of Ballarat, Victoria.
  • Only one winner will be selected. Multiple entries per person are permitted, subject to the entry mechanic outlined in Section 4.

3. Competition Period

The competition opens on Saturday, 2 May 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM AEST on Saturday, 9 May 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be valid. Re•nu reserves the right to extend or shorten the competition period, with reasonable notice published on its website and social media channels.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must purchase a Re•nu gift voucher or programme package during the competition period. Purchases may be made:

 

  • Online via the Re•nu website at www.renusocialwellness.com.au; or
  • In person at the Re•nu Social Wellness studio, 35 Mair Street, Ballarat Central VIC 3350.

 

Entry Tiers

  • Purchase of a $100 Re•nu Gift Voucher — 1 (one) entry into the draw.
  • Purchase of a $200 Re•nu Gift Voucher — 3 (three) entries into the draw.
  • Purchase of the Re•nu 28-Day Mind & Body Reset Programme ($289) — 5 (five) entries into the draw.

 

Participants may make multiple separate purchases during the competition period to accumulate additional entries. Each qualifying purchase must be completed before the competition closes to be eligible.

Online purchases will be automatically recorded upon successful payment confirmation. Entrants will receive a confirmation email with their entry number(s). In-store purchases will be recorded at the time of sale and entrants will receive a receipt noting their entry number(s). Re•nu is not responsible for entries lost, delayed, or not received due to technical issues or any cause beyond Re•nu’s reasonable control.

Entries are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. The Prize

One (1) prize is available to be won, comprising:

 

  • One (1) night’s accommodation at 1 Hotel Melbourne, 9 Maritime Place, Docklands VIC 3008, in a standard queen or king room (the “Accommodation Prize”), valued at approximately $550 AUD; AND
  • Full access to the Re•nu 28-Day Mind & Body Reset Programme for the winner’s nominated recipient, redeemable at Re•nu Social Wellness, 35 Mair Street, Ballarat, valued at $289 AUD.

 

Total prize value: approximately $839 AUD.

 

The prize is awarded in its entirety to one winner. The Re•nu 28-Day Mind & Body Reset Programme component is to be gifted to the winner’s nominated recipient and is not transferable to any other person. The accommodation component is subject to the blackout periods and conditions outlined in Sections 6 and 7 below.

6. Accommodation — Blackout Periods and Voucher Option

6.1 Blackout Periods

The Accommodation Prize is subject to availability and cannot be redeemed during the following blackout periods. These dates reflect Melbourne’s peak demand periods during which 1 Hotel Melbourne is unlikely to have availability suitable for the prize, or during which standard room rates significantly exceed the prize value:

 

The following blackout periods apply with no exceptions:

 

  • Australian Open — 12 January to 1 February (annually).
  • Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix — The Grand Prix weekend in March each year (refer to the official Formula 1 website at www.f1.com for the current year’s confirmed dates).
  • Melbourne International Comedy Festival — Late March to mid-April each year (refer to www.comedyfestival.com.au for the current year’s confirmed dates).
  • AFL Finals Series — All AFL Finals matches held at Marvel Stadium, Docklands, during September each year (refer to www.afl.com.au for the current year’s confirmed schedule).
  • Major International Sporting Events — Any weekend on which a designated international touring fixture or major event is held at Marvel Stadium or the Melbourne Cricket Ground, including but not limited to NFL regular season games (refer to individual venue websites for current year schedules).
  • Spring Racing Carnival — Melbourne Cup Week, encompassing Derby Day, Melbourne Cup Day, Oaks Day, and Stakes Day, typically held in late October to early November each year (refer to www.racingvictoria.com.au for the current year’s confirmed dates).
  • Christmas and New Year Period — 24 December to 5 January inclusive, annually.

 

There are no exceptions to the blackout periods listed above under any circumstances whatsoever. Requests to redeem the Accommodation Prize during any blackout period will not be honoured.

6.2 The $550 Accommodation Voucher Option

We want every winner to enjoy their prize on their own terms. If the winner wishes to stay at 1 Hotel Melbourne during a blackout period, or if the winner prefers to manage their own accommodation booking independently, the Accommodation Prize will instead be fulfilled as a $550 AUD accommodation credit (the “Accommodation Voucher”), to be applied toward the winner’s own direct booking at 1 Hotel Melbourne.

The $550 Accommodation Voucher may be applied toward any room type and booking date of the winner’s choosing, subject to 1 Hotel Melbourne’s standard availability, pricing, and booking terms. Any difference between the $550 credit and the winner’s chosen room rate is payable by the winner directly to 1 Hotel Melbourne.

The winner must elect to receive either the complimentary night (subject to availability outside blackout periods) or the $550 Accommodation Voucher within 30 days of being notified of their win. This election is final and irrevocable once communicated to Re•nu. No cash alternative is available under any circumstances.

7. Prize Conditions

  1. The prize is awarded to the ticket purchaser (the entrant). The entrant is responsible for gifting and coordinating the prize with their nominated recipient.
  2. The Re•nu 28-Day Mind & Body Reset Programme must be activated and commenced within 12 months of the draw date of 12 May 2026. Failure to activate within this period will result in the programme component being forfeited with no replacement or cash equivalent offered.
  3. The Accommodation Prize (complimentary night) must be redeemed within 12 months of 12 May 2026. A minimum of 14 days’ advance notice is required when making a booking request. Bookings are subject to availability at the time of request and are not confirmed until written confirmation is received from 1 Hotel Melbourne.
  4. The $550 Accommodation Voucher, if elected under Clause 6.2, must be used within 12 months of 12 May 2026 and is non-refundable, non-transferable, and has no cash value.
  5. The prize cannot be transferred, sold, or substituted for any other prize or cash equivalent, except as specifically outlined in Section 6 of these Terms and Conditions.
  6. Re•nu is not responsible for any additional costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to: transport to and from Melbourne, meals, spa treatments, parking, incidental hotel charges, or any upgrades elected by the winner at 1 Hotel Melbourne.
  7. Re•nu accepts no responsibility for any failure by 1 Hotel Melbourne to honour an accommodation booking, any changes to 1 Hotel Melbourne’s operations, closure, or any other circumstances beyond Re•nu’s reasonable control that may affect delivery of the accommodation component of the prize.

8. The Draw

  1. The draw will take place on 
  2. Tuesday, 13 May 2026 at Re•nu Social Wellness, 35 Mair Street, Ballarat Central VIC 3350.
  3. The draw will be conducted using a verifiable random selection method applied to all valid entries received during the competition period.
  4. One (1) winner will be selected. If the initially drawn winner is found to be ineligible, has not complied with these Terms and Conditions, or cannot be contacted within the timeframe specified in Section 9, Re•nu reserves the right to draw a replacement winner.
  5. The draw result is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the draw.

9. Winner Notification

  1. The winner will be notified via the contact details provided at the time of entry (phone or email) within 48 hours of the draw, no later than Thursday, 15 May 2026.
  2. The winner must respond to the notification within 7 days of being contacted. Failure to respond within 7 days will result in the prize being forfeited and Re•nu reserves the right to draw a new winner.
  3. The winner’s first name and suburb of residence may be published on Re•nu’s website and social media channels for promotional purposes. By entering, all participants consent to this use of their first name and suburb only. No additional personal information will be published without the winner’s explicit written consent.
  4. Re•nu may invite the winner to participate in promotional activity (such as a photograph or short testimonial). Participation in such activity is entirely voluntary.

10. General Conditions

  1. Re•nu reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate this competition at any time if it reasonably believes the competition has been compromised by fraud, technical failure, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
  2. Re•nu reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, provides false or misleading information, or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions.
  3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Re•nu, its employees, agents, and associated entities will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from or in connection with participation in this competition or acceptance or use of the prize.
  4. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.
  5. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook or Instagram) or any other social media platform. Any information provided by entrants is provided solely to Re•nu Social Wellness and not to any social media platform.
  6. This competition is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. All participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

11. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with this competition will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and, with your consent, for Re•nu marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting Re•nu via the contact form at www.renusocialwellness.com.au or by calling 0416 292 652. Re•nu will not share your personal information with third parties except as required to administer this competition or as required by law. 12. Governing Permit

This competition is conducted as a trade promotion lottery in accordance with the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic). As the total prize value is approximately $839 AUD, which is below the $5,000 threshold requiring a permit under Victorian trade promotion lottery provisions, no permit number is required for this competition.

 

Entrants are advised to retain a copy of these Terms and Conditions for their records.
